i’ve been supporting Arsenal for about ten years, and this is my first ever Champions League final.
whatever the result turns out to be, I think this season’s achievements—including the first Premier League title in 22 years—are beyond question.
this is the kind of match that becomes a turning point: whether we end the season as Premier League champions, or whether we become a team that goes down in football history.
it’s like the difference between finishing at 100 points or reaching 1000.
honestly, I’d put our chances of winning at about 30%.
including the games against City this season, I don’t really have the impression that we’ve been winning the big games against top opponents.
but it’s for matches like this that we’ve endured, kept challenging, and made it through the long tunnel.
once you reach a CL final, it’s a match where the best teams put everything on the line, and from there I think it comes down to luck too—so I’ll be watching and praying.
Come On You Gunners
